At 25 years old Shane Berkery has done a lot. Based in Dublin, he has also lived in Japan and America. He paints figurative paintings that are beautifully executed and humm with a kind of ambivalent nostalgia. He has won some prestigious awards, had some solo shows, he’s taken part in numerous group shows, and his work sells out almost immediately.
