I had a great chat with artist Rachel Moseley in Las Vegas. Rachel is an artist. She paints with the technical chops of an old master and the eye of an urban street photographer.
Such is the demand for her work that her paintings sell before they’re even finished and she has shown her work throughout America and internationally.
We talk about Game of Thrones, dead bodies, babysitters, truth zingers, and art, lots of art and painting . . .
Here are the main points of what we talk about:
- Creative heroes,
- Early graffiti,
- Forensic anthropology,
- Illustration,,
- Working with porn,
- Teaching,

Wonderful interviews
Thanks Ramya.
I regularly listen to your podcast but just now got around to listening to your interview with Rachel Moseley. This interview is now one of my favorites! I especially related to being annoyed with people who can do a painting “in six hours (and treat it like some sort of accomplishment)” and learning to trust your loved ones when they say a painting isn’t working- I literally just threw a painting away and it made me sad, but it felt good too. Thank you so much for your amazing podcast. It’s a great reminder to artists that we are not alone in our endeavors.
