Moment of agreeing, then shouting, ‘NO!’
Really- no potential Shakespeare because the 10 000 hours isn’t considered valid anymore?
( I realised I’m taking a sound bite and hyper focussing on it and potentially stretching out of context)- but REALLY???
I couldn’t bear it.
Valuing culture isn’t on the radar in Australia- I sooo lament it…
After listening, I thought about the artists I love: Alex Venezia for example; his philosophy when he began, being a shy guy, was ‘ just get so good you can’t be ignored’.
That idea hit home and rang true to me.
I wonder if this author would consider that idea valid…
If it is to me, and it fires me, perhaps it is.
