I had such a refreshing conversation with artist and gallery owner Robert Lange. Robert and his wife Megan opened their gallery in 2003 and since then it has become a community art hub for Charleston, South Carolina. Robert answers your questions on many aspects of art from the perspective of a gallery owner and artist.

Theme music by The Argyle Pimps. Thanks lads.
I love Robert’s optimism and refreshing “friendly gallery” philosophy.
I just wanted to correct his comment about the Farnsworth Art Museum, which I live near: It’s not a “Wyeth only” museum (though they are its main attraction); it contains works by hundreds of artists with a Maine connection dating from the early 19th century to the present.
