Theme music by The Argyle Pimps. Thanks lads.
I always enjoy hearing Alyssa speak and answer art questions. I find myself pausing the podcast several times to ponder her thoughtful responses. I like how her answers always touch on things much bigger than art. Good therapy for me. I have to admit that I am a bit perplexed she does not believe in Heaven. She is awesome at articulating what I would call transcendent, heavenly things.
This was such a great interview on so many levels. Alyssa, your thoughts on painting and/or objectification of the female nude and the male gaze was so thoughtful. It gave words to something I have not been able to express in it’s entirety. Thanks both of you
